Sáng 25-4, UBND TP Phú Quốc cho biết địa phương đã tiến hành cưỡng chế, thu hồi đất đối với 3 hộ dân ở ấp Rạch Tràm (xã Bãi Thơm) thực hiện dự án khu du lịch sinh thái và dân cư Rạch Tràm với diện tích 173,53ha. Đây là khu nghỉ dưỡng sinh thái cao cấp, khu dân cư làng nghề mới.
Cưỡng chế, thu hồi gần 2,8ha đất của người dân ở Phú Quốc để làm du lịch
Các hộ bị thu hồi đất, gồm: bà Phù Thị Đẹp (diện tích 21.654m2), ông Trịnh Văn Định (diện tích 2.306m2) và ông Đặng Phú Quây với hai thửa đất tổng diện tích 3.999m2.
Địa phương ghi nhận hiện trạng đất thu hồi của bà Đẹp có 3 căn nhà gỗ, mái tôn, vách tôn. Riêng diện tích đất cưỡng chế của ông Định và ông Quây trồng cây tràm bông vàng, không có nhà ở.
Trước đó, ngày 24-4, người dân đã tự tháo dỡ công trình vi phạm trước khi lực lượng chức năng tiến hành cưỡng chế.
UBND TP Phú Quốc khuyến cáo người dân, các tổ chức, cá nhân tìm hiểu kỹ trước khi đầu tư, mua bán đất ở địa phương.
Liên quan đến 79 căn biệt thự xây trái phép ở ấp Đường Bào, xã Dương Tơ, UBND TP Phú Quốc dự kiến cưỡng chế thêm 3 căn biệt thự vào ngày 6-5.
Sáng 19-4, UBND TP Phú Quốc phối hợp đơn vị liên quan cưỡng chế, thu hồi hơn 3.000m² đất của hai hộ dân ở khu phố 7, phường An Thới để phát triển kinh tế – xã hội.
